Camper Calling announces music acts for summer festival

A host of top music names have been added to the Camper Calling Festival line-up.

Camper Calling Festival, which takes place at Ragley Hall in Warwickshire in August, is now in its second year and popular headliners The Lightning Seeds, Cast and Reef have already been announced for this year’s bill.

The three day festival, that takes place on August bank holiday weekend, aims to be is filled with a host of family friendly activities, from craft workshops to campfire tales, lake activities to children’s circus shows.

There will be several live music stages, craft workshops, scrumptious street food, AüguztFest for the connoisseur of fine beer with a live Oompah Band, a fun fair, and a range of outdoor activities for visitors of all ages.

Other acts set to take to the stage across the weekend include Ordinary Boys and Backbeat Soundsystem, as well as X Factor star Lucy Spraggan, Scott Matthews, Musical Youth, Betsy and Thrill Collins.

The weekend will also host a Freshly Squeezed Stage, which will see the likes of popular Liverpool band Clean Cut Kid, who released their debut album Felt just last month, take to the stage alongside Seafret, Josh Kumra and April Keen, as well as a number of other acts.

Festival director Shelley Bond said : “We are so excited with this years line-up so far. The bands that we have announced are a true reflection of Camper Calling and what we stand for.

“We’ve tried to book a diverse mix of artists that we believe everyone will love.

“Over the next few weeks, we’ll be announcing the rest of the line-up, as well as all the additional experiences that Camper Calling will have to offer including award-winning street food, family activities and much more.”

Visitors to Camping Calling can camp in a tent, motorhome, caravan or campervan.

Camping onsite will be available from across all 3 days, with  hot showers and a quieter family zone available, as well as VIP and clamping options.
