Recruitment firms merge to work on national expansion
Two West Midlands recruitment firms have merged in a deal that will see them expand and provide more specialist staff for businesses across the county.
Workforce Recruitment, which is based in Redditch and has nine branches across the region – including Worcester, is merging with fellow Worcester firm, Peach Recruitment – which specialises in the public and professional service sectors.
The deal will see Peach Recruitment’s employees relocating from their Pierpoint Street offices to Workforce’s new recruitment centre in the city’s Foregate Street.
Peach’s managing director Sarah Mayo-Evans, who founded the firm in 2002, will remain with the company. She is credited with building Peach into a leading provider of non-medical and non-clinical staff for the NHS.

The merger comes just weeks after Workforce, which employs 120 people, opened new branches for the first time in Solihull and Birmingham city centre.
Workforce also has recruitment centres in Kidderminster, Rugby, Northampton, Coventry and at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire.
