Hofer Powertrain

An automotive components firm has relocated to new premises in Warwickshire to provide it with the capacity for growth.

Hofer Powertrain works with many of the world’s leading automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and automotive technology centres. It mass produces powertrain components including its own design electric motors and hybrid modules to full dual clutch transmissions.

The company, established in the 1980s and based in Germany, employs more than 850 people at its various operations.

In a deal brokered by Bromwich Hardy, the company has taken over Unit 2 at the Titan Business Centre, which is part of Tachbrook Park, Warwick. The unit offers 17,700 sq ft of production space.

William Hartley, managing director of Hofer Powertrain, said: “We are delighted to have secured the new facility at Titan Business Centre – this facility will allow us to continue with our growth strategy and provides an excellent UK head office location.”

Tom Bromwich, of Bromwich Hardy, added: “I am very pleased to have assisted Hofer Powertrain in locating and securing their new HQ – once again it is a fillip for the Warwick commercial property market that a leading automotive production consultancy has chosen the area for their main UK base.”
