Putting business leaders on the right track at CBI dinner

Josh Hardie, deputy director-general of the CBI

Business leaders from across the region will be attending next month’s CBI autumn dinner to hear from two influential speakers.

The CBI’s deputy director general Josh Hardie and HS2 programme director for the West Midlands, Mike Lyons, will address the audience.

The dinner takes place on Thursday, October 12, at Stoneleigh Abbey in Kenilworth.

Hardie joined the CBI from Tesco, where he was group director for corporate responsibility, and is an experienced corporate affairs specialist.

Lyons leads the HS2 delivery teams responsible for the infrastructure and stations in the Midlands, including Interchange and Birmingham Curzon Street. He has also recently been appointed onto the board of Greater Birmingham & Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership.

The evening, which includes a two-course dinner and networking dessert buffet, provides a platform for business leaders and key stakeholders from across the region to come together. TheBusinessDesk.com is the event’s media partner.
