Property management company targets 100 new jobs to fulfil growth potential

No Agent

A digital entrepreneur from Coventry has launched a new property management business with the aim of creating 100 new jobs for the city.

No Agent was launched by Calum Brannan in London in March last year.

The lettings platform, which offers landlords a property management service, has proved successful with business being attracted from across the UK.

After securing £1.5m in fresh investment, No Agent has opened a new operations centre at Electric Wharf in Coventry, employing 12 people initially but this is expected to rise to 100 by the end of 2018.

The 28-year-old entrepreneur is no stranger to the digital sector having launched a social networking site called Youmeo when he was just 15, which eventually grew to have half-a-million users.

That was followed by his co-founding of social media risk management company, Crowd Control HQ, in 2009, which is still going strong.

Mr Brannan said Coventry had been his first choice for his new operations centre.

He said: “We are very pleased with the way No Agent has been received and the way it is growing so quickly.

“Coventry was always my number one choice for the new operations centre and I love the feel of Electric Wharf.

“The business has attracted new investment recently – a mix of angel investment and venture capital money – and that has allowed us to grow even quicker.”

He said was confident that with the skills base within Coventry there was sufficient scope to secure the additional jobs locally.
