Land deal paves the way for new office development

A strategic site at the heart of UK Central has been acquired in a new deal, paving the way for the development of a prime Grade A headquarters building.

T4, Trinity Park in Solihull is a one-acre development site with planning permission for a 45,000 sq ft office building.

The site is located next to T3, a 50,000 sq ft office building, and adjacent to Birmingham International train station.

As such, it lies at the heart of the UK Central scheme, which looks to capitalise on its unique location close to Birmingham Airport, the NEC, the M42 corridor and the development of HS2 and its proposed interchange hub.

Acting on behalf of a private owner occupier client, Birmingham independent commercial property agency KWB acquired the site from Aberdeen Asset Management for an undisclosed sum.

Mark Robinson, director in KWB’s Office Agency Team, said: “T4 is one of the few prime office development sites left in Solihull. It could not be in a better position in what has become one of, if not, the most important office location in the Midlands, situated as it is adjacent to Birmingham International Station, and very close to the A45 Coventry Road and Junction 6 of the M42, Birmingham Airport and the NEC.
“Many have tried and failed to acquire this site for a number of years, but through hard work and persistence we finally managed to unlock it. Our client plans to build out the site as a prime Grade A headquarters building for self-occupation.”
