Land promoter rebrands as it moves to new Birmingham offices

The St Philips team

Birmingham-based land promoter, UK Land Development, has rebranded and expanded its team following a move to new offices in city’s Colmore Business District.

The company, now called St Philips, was established in 2013 by Persimmon Homes’ former Group Development Director, Daniel Le Neveu. It specialises in the promotion and delivery of all types of land for residential and mixed-use development.

To support its growth, St Philips has added Fiona Hooton as Planning Director and Chris Warren as Development Director.

Ms Hooton joins from the Homes and Communities Agency, where she was a Senior Area Manager. Mr Warren is a former Land Director at Miller Homes.

St Philips’ current portfolio includes sites across the Midlands and the South East. These include Monarch Green, a 180-acre site at Webheath, Redditch, which comprises of up to 1,600 homes, a first school, a mixed-use district centre and community facilities.

The company has also secured a draft allocation for 240 dwellings within the designated greenbelt at Cromwell Lane, Coventry and 580 dwellings at Hampton Lane, Solihull.

Daniel Le Neveu, managing director of St Philips, said: “Over the past four years we’ve built a business that is entirely focused on working with landowners to unlock the value of their assets and maximise their planning potential. That approach has enabled us to secure a solid and growing portfolio of sites, and with our new offices in the centre of Birmingham the timing is right for us to continue to expand.

“I’m delighted to welcome Fiona and Chris to the team, to add even greater strength and depth to our combined expertise.”

St Philips is currently promoting more than 850 acres of land, which is capable of sustaining 6,500 new homes and associated facilities, with further acquisitions agreed.
