Midlands Cyber sets its sights on the United States

Midlands Cyber has the US cyber market firmly in its sights. After signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the state of Maryland in July 2017, and two successful trade missions to the East Coast, the UK Government backed initiative has continued making strides in the US cyber market.

Midlands Cyber, in partnership with Titania, is now hosting the second part of two cyber workshops. Taking place on March 1, 2018, the event is designed for cyber SME’s and entrepreneurs seeking to explore overseas trade, in particular the United States, the team has organised a half-day workshop to help businesses understand the opportunity and viability of the US cyber market.

The half day is being led by leading expert Andy Williams, the former UK Cyber Envoy for the Department of International Trade, and current International Director of the iCyber Centre @bwtech Maryland.

Offering a plethora of knowledge and experience, Andy is an international business expert with particular experience in helping cybersecurity companies grow successfully overseas. He has led several initiatives for both the UK and the US governments to grow transatlantic trade and investment.

Titania is one of Andy Williams’ success stories, he led the cyber start up on its international journey and it now supplies to more than 90 countries worldwide.
