Weekender: Flybe launches winter schedule from Birmingham

Airline Flybe has announced its winter schedule from Birmingham Airport with its 2018 programme featuring new weekend flights to Norwich on Sundays and the return of two popular sun routes to Alicante and Malaga.

Flights are available for travel between October 28 and January 13.

Highlights of the schedule include up to seven flights a day to Amsterdam, Belfast City, Edinburgh and Glasgow, while ski enthusiasts will welcome the return of flights to Chambery and Geneva in December.

Flybe’s 22 winter routes from Birmingham are:
Aberdeen, Amsterdam, Belfast City, Berlin Tegel, Paris Charles De Gaulle, Chambery, Dusseldorf, Edinburgh, Guernsey, Glasgow, Geneva, Hannover, Hamburg, Inverness, Isle of Man, Jersey, Knock, Lyon, Milan Malpensa, Nantes, Newquay, Stuttgart.

Flybe’s chief commercial officer, Roy Kinnear, said: “It is great news for our customers that this year we have put our winter schedule on sale earlier than ever before.

“It gives plenty of time for decision making but also allows regular winter travellers the chance to make their plans.”
