Property firm acquires land for £14m retail scheme
Property developers Ashfield Land has acquired a site in Worcestershire to deliver a new retail development.
Sinclair Retail Park, which is located one mile from Evesham town centre, will include Aldi and TK Maxx, and will create approximately 115 new job opportunities.
Ashfield Land has received detailed planning permission, and will start construction as soon as the site becomes vacant.
The site is currently occupied by R Sinclair Transport (RST) on Davies Road, at Four Pools, and other nearby retailers include The Range, B&Q and Currys PC World.
RST is moving to a new, nearby 80,000 sq ft facility, safeguarding its existing jobs.
Sinclair Retail Park is expected to be completed in summer 2019. The remaining available space within the scheme – its second largest unit at around 11,000 sq ft – is being marketed by joint letting agents Ramsdens and Edgerley Simpson Howe.
