Three UK has announced the opening of its new stand alone store in Birmingham’s Bullring.

The new store will employ 16 people and has cost “hundreds of thousands of pounds”.

Dane Hipkin, head of retail channel development at Three UK said: ” We have thousand of customers across Birmingham and this is growing every year. This new store enables us to deliver the best quality service for our customers, while also bringing new jobs to the area. We look forward to welcoming Birmingham locals to ur new store in the Bullring.”

Three UK says that the new store is part of a “major investment in the Birmingham region.”

The Bullring store will sell a wide range of the latest devices including the iPhone X, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and many others.

All employees in the new store have been trained to deliver Three’s Discovery Programme. The Discovery Programme helps customers expand their digital skills and get the most out of mobile technology.

Three UK’s 4G network covers approximately 99.8% of the UK population, and carries 28% of the UK’s mobile traffic.

The group employs over 4,000 people across three main office centres and 324 retail stores. It is part of CK Hutchinson Holdings Ltd which has mobile operations in 11 countries.
