Work to begin on £14m job-boosting retail park
Ashfield Land is pressing ahead with its Sinclair Retail Park development in Evesham, which is set to create around 115 jobs.
The 41,500 sq ft scheme at Four Pools is 100% pre-let to Aldi, TK Maxx and Home Bargains and will be built by Midlands based Benniman Construction.
Work is set to start on October 8 and complete next summer.
Robert Birch, lead director of Ashfield Land’s Birmingham office, said: “We look forward to delivering this £14m investment which brings some big brands to Evesham and will create more than 115 new jobs.”
Alongside the main development, Ashfield Land said it will be financing and delivering a long awaited pedestrian crossing on Davies Road.
Former owner/occupier R Sinclair Transport (RST) has moved to a new 80,000 sq ft facility at nearby Vale Park, which has also been built by Benniman, safeguarding approximately 40 existing jobs and providing the opportunity for future expansion of the family-owned business.
