The spotlight is on city patent and trade mark firm Forresters as it begins working with the world-renowned Birmingham Royal Ballet.

Forresters, which has an office in Birmingham, will be looking after the ballet company’s trade mark and branding protection, ensuring that it preserves its reputation as a world leader in the field of dance.

Matt Shaw, equity partner at Forresters, said: “I’ve been a supporter of the Birmingham Royal Ballet for many years and my friends and family really enjoy going to watch the performances.

“It is an exciting time for the company, which is already world renowned, and we are pleased to be supporting them in their plans.”

Forresters now has corporate membership of the ballet company.

“Birmingham Royal Ballet has long been a jewel in the crown for the city, and is respected both at home and internationally,” said Shaw. “It’s also a key part of Birmingham’s creative heart, and as we work closely with the region’s innovative sectors, we’re sure that the relationship will be exciting, and beneficial, for us both.”

Autumn Evans, corporate partnerships executive at Birmingham Royal Ballet, said:
“Birmingham Royal Ballet are delighted to be welcoming Forresters as new corporate members at the launch of the 2018-19 season.

“It is also an exciting time for Birmingham Royal Ballet’s charitable programmes, with the new season playing host to a series of relaxed performances, audio described performances and touch tours across Birmingham and UK touring venues.

“Two of Birmingham Royal Ballet’s greatest-profile charitable programmes – Dance Track, which sees 2,500 children per year from inner-city schools given free dance lessons, and Free Fall – BRB’s own dance company comprising ten adults with severe learning disabilities, both also have busy years ahead as they continue their great work within the city.”
