Business park fills up as developer looks to expand

Developer and regeneration specialist St. Modwen has reached full occupancy at its Nunnery Park development in Worcester and said it is looking to grow the development further.

New tenant Auto Support, a breakdown recovery service, has signed for over 17,000 sq ft of space across two units at the 20-acre development on a 10-year lease.

Following the recent relocation of its Worcester site, the company’s new unit is nearly double in size, as Auto Support looks to grow its staff base at Nunnery Park.

Meanwhile, a leading distribution company has signed for two units at the development, putting pen to paper on a 10-year lease for nearly 10,000 sq ft of space.

Nunnery Park is already home to a range of warehousing businesses, trade counters and leisure companies, including UK Storage and Edmundson Electrical, which moved into the business park over the summer.

St. Modwen’s recent successes mean that there are now no vacant units remaining at the mixed-use development, which is also home to fast-food chain Kentucky Fried Chicken and family pub operator Greene King.

Jonathan Green, director of asset management at St. Modwen, said: “These two lettings are testament to St. Modwen’s continued investment in the region as we establish Nunnery Park as one of Worcester’s most sought-after business parks.
