Commuters warned of severe delays on M6

Severe delays of more than an hour above normal journey times are to be expected on the M6 this morning.

A crash has closed one lane on the M6 southbound.

The crash happened between J7 (A34) and J6 (A38, Aston Expressway), with delays back to J11 (Cannock, A460).

There was also a broken down vehicle between J9 (Wednesbury, A461) and J8 (M5), however this has now been cleared.

Drivers are being warned to expect delays and to consider using another route if planning to travel through this section this morning.
