Floorcoverings giant sells off former sports ground for housing

Flooroverings group Victoria has sold its former sports ground in Kidderminster that had been unused for more than 20 years.

The site, located a mile from Victoria’s head office, had a net book value of £100,000.

The site was sold yesterday with planning permission for housing for £2m.
