Plans for Birmingham’s tallest building revealed

Yardley-based Europe Property Investment have applied for planning permission for a 61-storey skyscraper, which would be the tallest building in Birmingham.
The £150m development situated at 100 Broad Street will see 503 apartments created and include a sky lounge bar and restaurant on the top floor.
Birmingham’s Glancy Nicholls Architects are behind the designs, which the council have said would make a significant contribution to meeting the city’s future housing needs.
The proposals also include two ground floor retail units with a total of 5,500 sq ft of space.
