Architectural firm expands with launch of Birmingham office

CPMG Architects has launched a Birmingham office in Bull Street’s The Lewis Building.

With headquarters in Nottingham and a London office which opened four years ago, the business is now expanding its design services and expertise into the West Midlands area.

The office will be headed up by director Anil Parmar.

He said: “We have developed a wealth of Birmingham contacts through a consistent pipeline of work over the last ten years or so, and the time is now right to build on those relationships and expand and develop our offering in the West Midlands market.

“The new office will allow us to further expand our network and client base in the West Midlands, as well as continuing to deliver award-winning standards of work for our clients.”

The team has completed a number of flagship projects in the Midlands in recent years, including the 2018 RIBA award-winning Vijay Patel Building at De Montfort University, Cripps Health Centre, the Air Traffic Control Tower at Birmingham Airport and most recently Kitty Café in Birmingham.

Richard Flisher, managing director at CPMG, said: “This move reflects our ambitious drive for sustained growth at CPMG, but most importantly it will allow our team to build on recent project successes such as Christ Church Academy, and a new Free School in Yardley Wood Birmingham.

“The strengths we have in key sectors align perfectly with the needs of our clients in the Birmingham market. Anil’s expertise and experience has allowed him to help the business deliver fantastic projects alongside our talented team, and with him at the helm we are confident that this new venture will see the business continue to grow and exceed client expectations.”

CPMG has more than 30 years’ experience with its 50-strong team specialising in the education, commercial, health, leisure, manufacturing and interior design sectors.
