Litigation and commercial law firm rradar has announced the opening of its Birmingham office in the Somerset House building at 37 Temple Row in the heart of the city centre.

This is rradar’s fourth office in the UK and is part of the firm’s strategic expansion plan, following significant growth in recent years. rradar’s other offices are in Hull, Leeds and Glasgow.

Gary Gallen, CEO of rradar, said: “Birmingham is one of the largest and most successful professional and financial centres in the UK and a key city in which to establish a presence.

“The city’s success reflects our vision and strategy and this move is in line with our five-year business plan, which includes pro-active and focussed expansion for rradar across the UK.”

rradar was launched in Hull in East Yorkshire and within a few short years, now has over 130 full-time employees, four key strategic office locations and a turnover of over £8m at its last year end.

It continues to expand rapidly with plans for more UK offices, more recruitment and its first acquisitions.

“We have hired a team of incredibly talented and smart people who bring their expertise and dedication to support our vision to modernise the legal industry, transforming what we can do and how we can do it. We offer a technology-driven, preventative strategy and solutions that make the law more accessible and affordable for our clients” said Gallen.

Andrew Cameron, chief legal officer of rradar said: “rradar has built a strong reputation over the past few years and our success has been driven by the quality of our people.
“I look forward to overseeing the expansion of our Birmingham office, attracting the best legal talent the city has to offer to increase and enhance our team and our service offering for our clients.”
