Private equity firm makes two new hires

Chiltern Capital has made two new hires to its investment team.
David Butler joins as an investment manager from Downing, where he focused on early stage growth capital investing across a wide range of sectors including business services, education, technology and engineering.
Butler said: “After three incredibly valuable years at Downing, I am extremely excited to be joining the highly accomplished team at Chiltern as it continues to grow.”
Ben Robinson will also be joining as an investment associate from PwC’s Transaction Services division where he focused on mid-market transactions across a number of sectors including business services and consumer products.
Tom Phipps, partner, said: “We are delighted to have David and Ben come on board. We have no doubt that their skills and experience will support our investment activity and portfolio management capabilities.”
