Judging panel revealed for West Midlands Business Masters Awards

The judging panel for the eagerly-anticipated West Midlands Business Masters Awards 2020 has been revealed today.

The panel will decide on a shortlist and winner in 13 categories. Winners will be crowned at a glittering awards evening at the Botanical Gardens in Birmingham on Thursday 2 April.

TheBusinessDesk.com’s  annual Business Masters dinner is one of the key events in the region’s business calendar. This dinner attracts key influencers, decision-makers, business owners and senior managers from a wide range of high-profile companies and business sectors.

The Business Masters celebrate the achievements of our most innovative, ambitious and successful businesses in the region – but the deadline for nominations is this Friday (13 December) –  enter for free today and be part of our 2020 event.

Our judging panel will consist of:

Chris Barlow

Chris Barlow, partner, MHA Macintyre Hudson. Chris joined MHA MacIntyre Hudson in July 2015 following the merger with Birmingham based MHA Bloomer Heaven. Chris was made a partner at MHA Bloomer Heaven in 2006 and works with owner managed businesses, family owned companies and international groups.

Andy Dawson, Curium Solutions

Andy Dawson, co-founder, Curium Solutions. Andy is the co-founder and director of change management consultancy firm Curium Solutions, which is based in Birmingham city centre. He is also Council member at Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and a member of the BPS Leaders Committee.

Julie Nugent

Julie Nugent, director of skills and productivity, West Midlands Combined Authority. Julie has 20 years’ leadership experience across education, employment and skills, with senior roles held in government and the college sector. She has extensive experience in leading change to improve efficiency, increase impact and business growth and respond positively to changing market conditions.

Paula Deas

Paula Deas, operations director, Coventry and Warwickshire LEP. Paula was instrumental in establishing the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership in 2011 and has worked with the Government to secure over £300m of funding for the area in her role as operations director.
