MD of listed bathroom products firm announces retirement

Birmingham-based bathroom fittings manufacturer Samuel Heath & Sons has announced that its managing director will stand down later this year.

The listed company said that David Pick will be retiring on 31 December.

Sales director Martyn Whieldon has been appointed to the position of deputy managing director with immediate effect for the transitional period, following which he will become managing director on Pick’s retirement.

Samuel Heath, chairman, said: “I have worked with Martyn Whieldon since he joined us in 1995 and I have little doubt that he will add to the progress of the company, which David Pick has achieved.”
