Sprinkler and pipework fabricator secures funding

A sprinkler and pipework fabricators has secured funding to support the business through the coronavirus pandemic.

Willenhall-based Harris Pipework Fabrications has secured the CBIL funding to fulfil working capital requirements to continue to pay its suppliers and staff.

Established in 1987, the business provides an extensive manufacturing service to the construction, industrial and process market sectors throughout the UK.

Stuart Harris, managing director, said: “Like most businesses we are having to plan for a slowdown in orders whilst the country recovers from this crisis. The funding which has come from the Government-backed CBIL scheme will enable us to continue to trade through this period and plan for growth when the climate allows.”

Mike Corcoran, relationship director at Barclays in the Black Country added: “Harris Pipework Fabrications is a long established business which a strong management team and I am delighted we have been able to support them at this time.”
