Mander Centre welcomes back retailers and shoppers

The Mander Centre in Wolverhampton is set to welcome back the majority of its retailers and shoppers today.

The city’s biggest shopping centre formally reopens for non-essential retail following the advice and guidelines from Government.

While a small number of stores have remained open throughout the lockdown, the majority of retailers will be phasing their reopening plans from today.

Richard Scharenguivel, general manager of the Mander Centre, said: “We are very much looking forward to welcoming our retailers and shoppers back to the Mander Centre.”

“We have systems in place to ensure we and our retailers comply with the Government guidelines for shopping.”

“It’s important for the economy of Wolverhampton and the health of our High Street that we can all enjoy the fantastic range of shops and services the centre provides.”

All entrances will be open from 9am although access through Boots, B&M and Wilko may be restricted.

The public toilets will not be open next week, with the exception of the disabled toilets, which will be available for RADAR key holders.
