Law firm’s revenue passes £50m

Law firm Bevan Brittan, which has an office on Edmund Street in Birmingham, has reported double-digit growth in both revenue and profit for the financial year 2019/20.

The firm posted turnover of £51.4m, up 11.7% from £46m, while net profit was up 13.8% to £11.35m.

With over 80 legal professionals and support staff in the city, including eight partners, Bevan Brittan said it boosted its growing standing in the region’s professional services industry.

Adrian Dagnall, head of Bevan Brittan’s Birmingham office, said: “It has been another successful financial year for Bevan Brittan, marking seven years of continuous growth with a 57% increase in revenue and an 86% increase in net profit over that period. Building on last year’s strong revenue and profit, we have this year continued to invest in our client relationships, office and IT infrastructure and develop and recruit the best legal talent that fits within our growth strategy.

“With a strong platform for growth established thanks to our balanced client portfolio, we are well placed to continue growing our presence in the Midlands.

“We continue to play an active role in the vibrant business life of the city, and will be supporting our clients closely as they navigate the uncertainties of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
