Artisan cheese store opens at intu Merry Hill

A store specialising in artisan cheese has opened its doors at intu Merry Hill.

The Chuckling Cheese Company offers a range of flavoured cheddars including traditional apple smoked and the Botanist gin and tonic cheddar.

Following a successful year running a kiosk at the centre, The Chuckling Cheese Company’s new space will enable it to stock a full range of products including craft beers, gins, vodkas, coffee syrups, fudge bars and giant meringues.

Emma Colclough, director at The Chuckling Cheese Company, said: “We’re really excited to open a permanent shop at intu Merry Hill. The additional space means we can bring the full Chuckling Cheese experience to our visitors and we look forward to welcoming both regular and new customers to our fantastic store.”

Rachael Jackson, general manager at intu Merry Hill, said: “With 96% of stores now open at the centre, it’s a great time to welcome another new addition for our growing number of visitors to enjoy.

“The Chuckling Cheese pop-up has built up a loyal following over the last 12 months and we look forward to seeing visitors’ reaction to the new store.”

The new store can be found on the lower mall near Hotel Chocolat.

The Chuckling Cheese Company is the latest in a series of independent stores to make intu Merry Hill their permanent home, joining the likes of Burrito Kitchen, Little Desert Shop, Dr Eamer’s Gin Emporium and Oopsy Daisies.
