Expansion plans in full swing for HR consultancy
A Warwickshire-based outsourced HR and employment law company is continuing its expansion with the launch of its first franchise.
Absolute Works, which specialises in supporting SMEs with all their employment law andHR requirements, has announced the opening of a franchise in Dorset.
Although the company’s head office is in Kenilworth, Absolute Works work nationally with hundreds of businesses across a variety of sectors looking after all their outsourced HR needs.
Joy May, CEO and founder and daughter Amy Martin who is managing director, have been supporting clients in keeping up to speed with the changing landscape of furlough. More recently they have been supporting clients advising on cost savings and guiding them through restructuring and the redundancy process.
Heidi Skirrow is the owner of the Dorset franchise and brings with her a wealth of experience having over 20+ years’ experience in HR at a senior director level, nationally and globally.
She left her role as vice president HR with Carnival Cruises to use her skills, knowledge and experience in supporting SMEs.

Skirrow added: “I departed Carnival earlier this year to fulfil my long-held ambition of establishing a Dorset based business and building a specialist team in the area of HR and employment law, which I am absolutely passionate about. I now hope to bring my skills and knowledge, built up over the last 25 years, to local based SMEs. Partnering with Absolute Works, to launch and own the first Dorset based franchise, seemed like a great fit for me given their company values, commercial thinking and approach to delivering great customer service, which perfectly reflects that of my own.”
Absolute Works also provides payroll, health and safety services, ELearning and apprenticeships advice.
