Tile Central UK has committed to a long-term lease with Sandyford Properties.

The ceramic tile supplier has signed a 10-year lease deal on the last remaining unit at the second phase of Trentham Trade Park, Trentham Lakes.

The Trentham Lakes unit is 7,333 sq ft. It has undergone a full fit out throughout September and October adding trade counter, showroom, small office and racking for stock to the unit.

Simon Brough, shareholder of Tile Central UK said: “Finding the right property is always a challenge but we worked closely with Sandyford Properties to find the perfect location. They took the time to understand our business and could see we were growing and needed the space. It was a very smooth process and they were very helpful.”

Brough added: “It was a great opportunity and the best location in Stoke on Trent. The Trade Park is full now and we’re surrounded by very complimentary businesses such as Howdens, City Plumbing and Screwfix.

“We looked at a unit at Trentham Lakes 12 months ago but it was too big for us. Now that unit would have been too small we’ve grown so rapidly. We’re in unit F1 and it’s the dream unit for us.

“We closed in April due to COVID-19 but we were very fortunate to open again in May and we’ve grown 10-15% month on month since.”

James Lewis of Sandyford Properties said: “We’re pleased to welcome Tile Central UK at Trentham Trade Park. They’re a great addition and we hope they’ll be able to thrive as a business alongside other well-established trade counter operators. Thanks as well to Louis Taylor, our lettings agents for making the initial introduction.”
