Tech firm raises over £1m in crowdfunding campaign

A Birmingham-based driverless vehicle and transport company has raised more than £1m in one day through a Seedrs crowdfunding campaign.

Established in 2015, Conigital, which stands for Connected Digital, is expanding internationally with offices in UK, Europe, India and Australia.

To date, Conigital has secured £3.5m to support its platform build and is now moving to commercialise its offering through driverless vehicle trials with end customers.

“We are excited to be launching our seed funding campaign with Seedrs and to have our target of just over a £1m in a day of launching is an incredible achievement and shows what a great platform Seedrs is for early-stage tech companies such as Conigital,” said Conigital CEO Don Dhaliwal.

“We are now hoping to massively overfund to support our commercialisation and go to market strategies.”

Congital took home the Newcomer Award in TheBusinessDesk.com’s West Midlands Business Masters in 2018.
