Managed IT services firm creates jobs after record year

A Staffordshire managed IT services provider says it has created new jobs after smashing through its turnover target for 2020.

Infinity IT Solutions, based in Uttoxeter, says the pandemic saw a 22-fold increase in new enquiries overnight. This led to a six-figure investment in a new business solution for increased collaboration across the business, which resulted in a decrease in waiting times for customers.

The company is also refurbishing its headquarters building and has created jobs across its sales, service desk, project delivery and procurement departments.

Simon McAlpine, chief commercial officer, said: “It’s fantastic to be able to share such positive news – particularly during such a testing and difficult time. Our team go above and beyond, so our recent success and growth plans for 2021 are testament to their hard work, our strong company values and ongoing commitment to delivering excellence. We are all truly obsessive about customer service and this is reflected in our achievements thus far.”
