Work gets underway on Warwickshire housing scheme

Construction work is underway at a housing development in Hampton Magna, which will deliver 147 homes to Warwickshire.

Bellway’s Hampton Trove development, on a 17-acre site off Daly Avenue, is likely to open to the public in spring 2021 and will comprise a mix of one, two, three and four-bedroom houses and bungalows.

It will also deliver public open space, allotments, and a children’s play area.

As part of the development, Bellway is also providing 59 affordable homes which will be available through rent or shared ownership.

Elaine Brown, head of sales for Bellway South Midlands, said: “Construction work is now underway at Hampton Trove, which will help to meet the growing demand for new housing in Warwickshire.

“We are also investing over £1m into local infrastructure as part of the planning agreement, including £454,000 for Aylesford School, £224,000 towards extending the number 16 bus service between Hatton and Kenilworth, £169,174 for local health services, £134,000 Biodiversity contribution and £122,674 for indoor sports facilities along with further contributions towards the local Library and outdoor sports. Community infrastructure levy is also required, with £615,510 made payable to the local council.”
