St Modwen finance boss to join Grainger

The CFO and operations officer at St Modwen is to step down and join Grainger.

Rob Hudson, who also acted as interim chief executive at the Birmingham-based firm last year, will join Grainger as CFO at some point later this year after a notice period is negotiated.

St Modwen said the search for his successor has now begun.

Danuta Gray, non-executive chair of St Modwen, said: “During his time with St Modwen, Rob has provided valued financial expertise and leadership to the business. We would like to thank him for his significant contribution, hard work and commitment which has been key to the ongoing strength of the business.”

Hudson has over 26 years’ experience in finance and real estate; immediately prior to St Modwen he was group financial controller at FTSE 100 REIT, British Land, from 2011-2015. From 2000-2011 he held senior financial roles at Experian, including global finance director of its Decision Analytics business and UK finance director. He is a qualified chartered accountant from PwC.
