Former Chiquitos restaurant let to childcare group

The former Chiquito site in Battlefield, Shrewsbury has been leased to family-owned childcare group Kids Planet.

The site provides around 4,500 sq ft of accommodation.

Kids Planet has more than 60 nurseries across the UK. Set up by CEO Clare Roberts in 2008 with her father, who had previously owned another nursery group, Kids Planet is now responsible for the care and education of over 8,500 children.

Roberts said: “It has been really efficient working with James from start to finish, his client has shown to be a good fit for our company and a great introduction from James. We moved across to the site very quickly and are very much looking forward to welcoming families to our Kids Planet Shrewsbury nursery.”

The deal was handled by Halls Commercial Property.
