Hannah Delaney

Midlands estate agent Chosen Home has appointed a new area manager.

The company has appointed Hannah Delaney to help Chosen Home manage the demand for homes across the West Midlands, where interest has spiked during the pandemic.

Delaney has a strong background in property, having spent nine years in the industry, most recently as senior sales manager at residential development specialist, Seven Capital.

She said: “Having spent nine years specialising in residential sales, I was looking for a new challenge, and after meeting the Chosen Home team, I knew this was it. The team are experienced and so passionate about what they do, and I believe strongly in the unique model that the business has created whereby Chosen sells people’s homes for free.

“In just nine months, the business has grown very quickly and since starting just a couple of weeks ago, it’s been incredibly busy with the well-documented demand in the current climate to buy and sell homes. Chosen Home is highly focused on providing great customer service and it’s exciting to see the brand evolving, I get a real sense of pride every time I drive past a Chosen board.”

A financial services firm with offices in Birmingham, London and Warwick has made a promotion to the board of the directors, six new appointments and relocated its Warwick office.

Terry Michael

KLO Financial Services, based in St Paul’s Square in Birmingham and with an office in Shoreditch, London, has relocated its Warwick office to Wilton Drive, Tournament Fields – and promoted Terry Michael to director after less than two years’ service with the firm.

The new appointments are of four new independent financial advisers – Richard Lent, Stephen Pountney, Matthew Pearson and David Jones – and two client managers, Katie Smalley and Alison Ray.

John Glavey, managing director at KLO Financial Services, said: “Terry’s resounding expertise and experience gained at leading financial institutions, and personal drive to truly understand a client’s objectives and focus on creating tailored strategies, is what led to our decision to promote him to the board of directors. At just 35 years of age, it’s both a great achievement for Terry and a bold move for us – one that we think is truly deserved.”

All three are working towards Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeships, and managing partner, Brian Evans, said helping young people take their first steps in the legal profession was always a priority for the firm.

“As a progressive law firm, we value apprenticeships highly and appreciate the importance of nurturing young talent,” he added.

“We are looking forward to supporting, developing and working with Dana, Dylan and Emily on their Lanyon Bowdler experience as their apprenticeships and careers progress.”
