A Shrewsbury mortgage broker has added a further two new faces at its Shrewsbury Business Park home.

Bally Kang and Katie Maddox join Mortgage Advice Bureau – Severn Mortgage and Protect just over a month after Matt Dudley and Dan Braithwaite arrived in protection and mortgage advice roles respectively.

Kally was previously an adviser with NatWest, while Maddox is the newest member of the firm’s case management team and was formerly a branch manager with the West Brom Building Society.

Mortgage Advice Bureau – Severn Mortgage and Protect now has a team of 10, led by award-winning adviser Rob Brookes, who launched the new firm in late December 2020, after over a decade in the industry.

Shropshire law firm, Lanyon Bowdler, has unveiled six new associates – all promoted lawyers from within the firm.

It comes at a time when the firm is seeing an ongoing expansion to meet increasing demand for its services and follows a number of recent new appointments across all areas, both legal and administrative.

Brian Evans, Lanyon Bowdler’s managing partner, said: “One of the things I really enjoy is seeing people develop in their roles, and progress within the firm. It gives me great pleasure, therefore, to announce the promotion of our new associates.

“Natasha Gibbons, Laura Weir, Liz Farrell, Rita Ella, Karen Clarke and Jennifer Monaghan all work extremely hard for their clients and I warmly congratulate them on their new appointments. I wish them all the best for the future in their new roles.”

Law firm Lodders has appointed environmental lawyer Lee McBride as partner to head-up its new dedicated environmental law service, working alongside the Real Estate, Business Property & Renewables, and Agriculture teams.

McBride was formerly head of the environmental law practice at the Birmingham office of international law firm GowlingWLG (formerly Wragge & co), where he was a partner for over 20 years and involved in the real estate and environmental aspects of large corporate M&A transactions and major real estate, and other projects across numerous sectors including defence, energy, motor, health, and social housing.

He said: “Lodders is a progressive, forward-thinking firm, with an excellent reputation for providing high quality client service.”

Digital agency Netbiz Group has added three new members to its team.

Recently joining the team are Selina Talbot and Melisa Soleimani as account managers, and Ian Bailey as digital marketer.
