Food store feeling fresh after £100,000 makeover

A food store in the Black Country has been given a fresh new look following an investment of more than £100,000.

The Central England Co-op in Tame Road, Brandhall has received a raft of upgrades and introduced several new ranges to boost its offering to the local community.

Store manager David Mills said: “It is really positive for both the team here at Brandhall and for the community to be having this investment. It’s particularly great to have the new refrigeration section which has really boosted our offer to customers and members, as well as all the other new features.

“We’ve had some great feedback so far from customers who are just happy to see the investment in their community as it shows them that we are here for them for the long-term.

“I would like to thank the community for their patience while the work has been completed but I hope they agree with us that it has been worth it.”
