Law firm agrees deal for city centre offices

Hortons’ Estate has let refurbished office space in Birmingham city centre to specialist law firm Kang & Co.

The property company has agreed a four-year deal with Kang & Co for offices at the White House Block on New Street.

Kang & Co will use the offices to house its five-strong Birmingham team, who have relocated from nearby Regus Victoria Square.

The law firm intends to retain serviced office space for client meetings in the city, as one of four offices located in Birmingham, central London and Milton Keynes.

The White House is home to occupiers including the Belgian Embassy, family-owned food and farming business Vestey Foods and H&C Accountants, who also relocated from Victoria Square earlier this year.

The letting is particularly pleasing given the backdrop of the pandemic and demonstrates that there is still a strong appetite for office accommodation in the city centre. The White House is a charming building that is superbly located close to Grand Central and Birmingham New Street.”

The White House has various refurbished office suites available from 452 sq ft to 1,266 sq ft on flexible lease terms.
