Conservatory roof specialist opens new depot

A business which specialises in transforming conservatories with insulated roofing panels is expanding into the West Midlands.

Green Space UK which is based on the outskirts of the New Forest in Ringwood, Hampshire, has opened an 8,000 sq ft depot at Somers Road, Rugby.

Green Space works with customers who want to keep their conservatory warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer by fitting solid, insulated roofs.

The business was started in 2013 by husband and wife team Brennan Jacomb and Bea San-Jose.

Since then, the family run business has grown from six employees to over 100 in the space of eight years.

Jacomb said: “We have grown sustainably and consistently as a business since we launched but in the last two years we have really begun to pick up the pace. We have just taken on our third warehouse in Ringwood and our new facility here in Rugby will help us cover more of the country.”

Adele Marsh, Green Space UK’s operations director, added: “The addition of two new warehouses (Ringwood and Rugby) will help us to streamline our processes and offer a much more efficient service to our customers across the south of the UK and in the Midlands.

“Not only are we saving money as a business – savings that can then be passed on to our customers to encourage even better prices – but we are also very understanding that a lot of fuel is consumed sending installers to the Midlands from Ringwood every day. The new warehouse will help us to reduce our carbon footprint as a committed green company.”
