Used car retailer CarShop is set to open its latest store in Keyway Retail Park, Willenhall, next month, creating 25 jobs.

As well as holding up to 400 cars itself, customers will be able choose from CarShop’s thousands of makes and models UK-wide and have any car delivered to the CarShop Wolverhampton store for test-drives or collection.

The 4.6-acre site off Armstrong Way, which was formerly owned by Autoworld, will feature a large outdoor forecourt, a modern indoor showroom, a customer area and a service centre.

Nigel Hurley, CEO of CarShop, said: “We’re hoping that this new store will become the go-to destination for people looking for a welcoming, comfortable and really enjoyable shopping experience – whether they’re browsing or have reserved a car online. We’re straight up at CarShop – every car undergoes a complete quality and safety check, each car bought comes with a three-month CarShop Warranty, and we offer a Price Match Promise meaning that customers can rest assured knowing they have the best deal.”

Leading the team as the store’s head of business is Ashley Barton, who said: “I’m very excited to be bringing the CarShop experience to the West Midlands. Wolverhampton, in particular, is such a thriving city, full of exciting businesses, brilliant communities and lots of potential customers – making it the perfect place for a CarShop.

“Once a customer has found their perfect car with us, our FCA regulated Business Managers help them to find a finance option that’s right for them – with really flexible plans available. Plus, because we know through our Price Match Promise that there’s no better price out there, there’s no awkward bargaining or price negotiations meaning the whole process is as enjoyable as possible.”

The store opens on October 8.
