Advisors open door to cross-border deal

Arran Isle, the Yorkshire designer, manufacturer and distributor of door and window hardware,has been sold to ASSA ABLOY, a global firm which produces access solutions and has a major base in Wolverhampton.

Arran Isle has a varied portfolio of innovative products primarily trading under the brands of Carlisle Brass and Mila.

Clearwater International, which has offices in Birmingham and Nottingham, advised the shareholders of Arran Isle on the deal. The team consisted of partners Jon Hustler, Michael Loudon and Rob Britton, associate director Mike Slater, senior associate Richard Corrie and executive Thomas Hickey.
