New restaurant rolls into Birmingham

Independent restaurant The Rolling Mill has now opened its doors in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.

Having already given the city a taste of what’s in store with its delivery menu available via Deliveroo last month, the bar and restaurant will be dishing up a “fresh take on European flavours and classics with a vintage twist”.

Brought to the city by Sunny and Sonu – the local restaurateur brothers behind Hen and Chickens – the 7,857 sq ft space has undergone a six-figure refurbishment.

With its final stages of the build scheduled for completion on December 16, the venue is set to offer indoor and outdoor space and a total of 280 covers, which includes a covered courtyard, a heated mezzanine rooftop, two bars, and a private internal terrace.

The Rolling Mill co-owner Sunny Rull said: “We’re seriously thrilled to be moving forwards with our first phase of launch this week! From hearty breakfast dishes to flavourful main courses, we’re confident that we have something to suit everyone’s tastes and dietary requirements on this menu.”
