An IT firm has relocated to Birmingham Business Park, enabling it to create at least a dozen jobs in the coming months.

Air IT has taken almost 2,800 sq ft at 6270 Bishops Court, nearly twice the size of its previous office.

Regional director Andrew Penlington said: “We’d been at System House in Yardley since 1987, and to be honest, as we’d grown over the years, it eventually just wasn’t suitable for a company in our sector because collaboration is everything in IT.

“However, we didn’t want to move to somewhere too far away, or take a lease on an office which was too large, and so it was a question of finding the right balance.

“Bishops Court is just right for us and our clients. We’ve got 16 staff at the moment, but the office will accommodate 28, and I’d expect to have all the new arrivals in place over the next three to six months.”

Birmingham-based property agents KWB acted for Air IT.
