A trio of Birmingham venues have been named among the best in the UK by Harden’s Best Restaurants Guide 2022, with one place just missing the number one spot.
Glynn Purnell’s Cornwall Street venue Purnell’s was named second best restaurant in the UK, while Adam’s on Waterloo Street and Opheem on Summer Row were also named in Harden’s top 100 places to eat in the UK.
Purnell’s was beaten to the top spot by Restaurant Sat Bains in Nottingham.
The guide also ranked Birmingham, with three restaurants in the top 100 and nine eateries in the Top 500, as best city for dining outside London.
Ratings and reviews in the guide are based on 30,000 reports from Harden’s annual survey of 3,000 regular diners.
