15,000 sq ft HQ building offloaded to investor

A headquarters-style building at Meriden Business Park has been sold to Bond Estates, the property investment wing of H.W. Coates Holdings.

2010 Meriden Business Park is a 15,279 sq ft, two storey office building with 80 car parking spaces.

Neighbouring occupiers include British Showjumping Association and stationery company Nuco International.

Malcom Jones, head of office agency at KWB, secured the sale with joint agency Holt Commercial on behalf of Kennedy Wilson.

KWB has been retained to let the building which will have a refurbishment to help answer demand for high quality office space within the Solihull and M42 corridor.

Jones said: “Meriden Business Park is an established and highly successful office development and we’re pleased to be bringing forward a high-quality product to a market that is desperate for space.”

Richard Perry, managing director at Bond Estates, added: “2010 Meriden Business Park was an ideal investment to strengthen our property portfolio and a perfect example of the type of HQ office product we are actively seeking to purchase. We are confident that this property will flourish under our ownership.”
