Nursery steps towards growth with Kids Planet deal

A Sutton Coldfield nursery has been snapped up by fast-growing group Kids Planet.

Stepping Stones in Sutton Coldfield was previously owned by Sara Reece who decided to sell to retire from the early years sector.

Following a confidential marketing process, it has been sold to Kids Planet, one of the fastest growing nursery groups in the Midlands.

Jassi Sunner, associate director – childcare & education at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, said: “This is a key location for Kids Planet in the Midlands which will add to the group’s growing profile in the region and endorse their investments alongside other recent acquisitions such as Peepo Day Nurseries and George Perkins Day Nursery.

“We wish them all the best and look forward to helping them to grow further.”

Stepping Stones Nursery was sold for an undisclosed price.
