Audit, tax and consulting services firm RSM, has become the latest tenant to sign up to 103 Colmore Row.

The company, which employs more than 300 people in Birmingham, has signed a ten-year lease on 12,132 sq ft on the tenth floor of the 26-storey building with joint venture partners Sterling Property Ventures and Tristan Capital Partners. The rent is undisclosed.

Its move from St Philips Point on Temple Row will support RSM’s plan to facilitate hybrid and flexible working.

There are also growth plans in the pipeline with 50 new starters, consisting of graduates and school leavers, set to join in August.

Birmingham’s tallest office building is also one of the most energy efficient, as it is the first office to receive an EPC A rating in the city. Its heating and hot water is supplied by the low carbon District Energy Scheme, whilst its electricity is provided from renewable energy sources.

Mark Taylor the regional managing partner at RSM UK, said: “As a premium building in the heart of the city centre, 103 Colmore Row aligns nicely with our brand and status in the market.

“The building’s strong ESG credentials was a key attraction, along with its ability to accommodate our hybrid working approach – making it a home fit for the future. It also gives us plenty of scope for growth, which is a big focus over the next few years, particularly through boosting our graduate intake.”

James Howarth the managing director of Sterling Property Ventures, said: “RSM’s relocation to 103 Colmore Row is further evidence of the flight to quality that’s happening in the office market, with companies demanding the very best space for their staff and clients.

“Having an office that’s environmentally friendly is also of paramount importance to ethically and sustainably minded businesses and 103 Colmore Row, with its award-winning ESG credentials, is second to none in the market. It’s also the best digitally connected building, having recently achieved a WiredScore Platinum rating.”
