Midlands duo go it alone to set up consultancy firm

A new Midlands consultancy firm has launched this month to support businesses in winning new work.

Stephen Alexander, founded by Alex Footman and Stephens Timmins, has been created to work with businesses across a range of sectors, providing advice and support on marketing, bids and tenders and business development.

Based in Worcestershire, Stephen Alexander will work with business owner-managers, directors, and in-house bid, marketin and business development teams to support them in the delivery of bids and tenders, lead generation, marketing planning and campaigns, business development, digital and events marketing.

Founders, Timmins and Footman have held senior marketing, business development and bid management roles in financial services, legal and accountancy firms, and property businesses across the Midlands. Footman was most recently head of marketing and business development for Quantuma, a global advisory firm, and prior to that was part of Gateley’s marketing team, the AIM-listed legal and professional services group. Timmins recently headed up the bid management function for Novus Property Solutions, based in Stoke-on-Trent and was also at Arcus Facilities Management, J Tomlinson and several regional construction firms.

Footman said: “We are incredibly excited to get Stephen Alexander launched and to support businesses in delivering their growth plans. We have a wealth of experience and expertise in developing strategic plans as well as providing the hands-on support for businesses in a range of sectors.”

We spotted a gap in the market to bring all areas of the work winning process together under one roof, and we are already seeing strong appetite for our services in the market.”
