Flybe launches new routes to France from Birmingham

Flybe has launched two new routes to France this week from Birmingham Airport ahead of the summer holidays.

The airline will operate weekly flights to Avignon and Brest in France, offering customers the opportunity to travel to both locations directly from the West Midlands.

Located in the South East of France, Avignon sits on the banks of the Rhône river and is steeped in history and culture, and famed for its annual art festival that takes place in July.

Those looking to explore Brittany can now fly direct to Brest Bretagne Airport from Birmingham to explore the scenic coastline.

Dave Pflieger, Flybe’s CEO said: “We’re delighted to have now launched our flights to Avignon and Brest from Birmingham Airport, offering better regional connectivity from the UK.

“Birmingham Airport is our headquarter base, where flights operate to other locations including Belfast and Amsterdam, demonstrating our mission to provide consumers with more choice, everyday great value, and more ways to connect to friends, loved ones, and business colleagues.”
