Flooring firm breaks through the £1bn barrier

Victoria, the flooring company, has burst through the £1bn turnover mark and posted record revenues and operating profits for its year-ending April 2.

The firm turned over almost £1.02bn during the period – a rise of 54% on 2021, while operating profit rose by almost 17% to £53.6m.

The results confirm the ninth consecutive record year for the Kidderminster company.

Geoff Wilding, executive hairman of Victoria, said: “Victoria continues to be in an enviable operational position thanks to the achievements of our management team, who have successfully managed a year that has seen the highest inflation in a generation alongside massive disruption to global supply chains. This year they remain laser-focussed on integration of recent acquisitions and execution of detailed synergy plans that will drive higher productivity, lower costs, and better customer service. I remain confident Victoria will continue to create wealth for shareholders.”
