Transport planning consultancy launches Birmingham office
Evoke Transport Planning Consultants has launched a Birmingham office in the central Alpha Tower building following recent growth and expansion of the team in the Thames Valley.
Established in 2019 in Reading, Evoke offers development focused transport planning and highway design solutions for clients across the UK, supporting developers, landowners and other property professionals across all land uses through each stage in the planning process.
The Birmingham team will be led by principal consultant Jon Williams with support from associate director David Fletcher and managing director Richard Stacey.
The team will continue to work alongside colleagues in the Thames Valley region to provide continued transport planning and highways advice through all stages of a development site, from the initial inception and feasibility of a project, through to the planning application stage and on to post application discussions, Section 106 agreements and discharging planning conditions.
Evoke also works with its clients to provide appeal support which includes the provision of expert witness at public inquiries.
Birmingham lead Jon Williams said: “Having recently returned to live in the midlands it’s great to be setting up in Birmingham. We’ve worked on a number of sites throughout the Midlands in recent years, from city centre residential schemes through to the promotion of strategic Local Plan sites, and Birmingham has stood out to us as the prime location to set up a base and grow our team. It’s an exciting few years ahead for the city, not only through the Commonwealth Games but with works on Paradise taking shape and exciting proposals for Smithfield, I look forward to working with both new and familiar faces in the Midlands over the coming months and seeing our office progress and grow.”
Richard Stacey, founder and managing director of Evoke, said: “The expansion into the Midlands market marks a key milestone for Evoke as we expand from our Thames Valley base. We have developed a strong client base, which together with support from other local property and professional partners, has allowed us to work on an exciting range of schemes across the area, including Warwickshire, Northants and central sites within Birmingham, Nuneaton and Coventry. We are truly excited for this important next step in the growth of our company and I look forward to sharing the exciting times ahead with our clients, partners, colleagues and friends in the area.”
